Compare Billetworkz BRZ, Shrug Guy and This Is The Way plate deletes on fitment, finish and design, and learn how to pick a saying that suits your build.
Quick answer
Choose the Billetworkz BRZ plate delete if you want a model-specific look, the Shrug Guy if you prefer a low-key joke, and This Is The Way if a clean pop-culture line suits your build. All three are CNC-milled, drilled for fitment and anodized, so the design and vehicle fitment option matter more than the hardware.
What actually differs between the three sayings
The BRZ version is the only one tied to a specific model name, so it reads as a factory-adjacent detail rather than a personal joke. Shrug Guy and This Is The Way are both general sayings that work on any bumper that accepts the plate, which makes them easier to move between cars or resell later.
Because every plate is CNC-milled and drilled for proper fitment, the cut and mounting pattern are consistent across designs. Your real choice is the engraved text and the finish color, not the build quality.
When a model-specific design is the wrong call
A BRZ plate delete makes sense only if the car is actually a BRZ and you plan to keep it long enough to enjoy the detail. On a different chassis, or on a car you may sell soon, a general saying avoids explaining the mismatch to the next owner.
The same logic applies to color. Anodized finishes protect against scratches and corrosion, but a bright color is harder to match to a restrained build than a neutral one.
Common questions about these plate deletes
- How do I know which vehicle fitment option to choose?
- Use the Vehicle Fitment selector on the product page and match it to your car's model and year before ordering. The catalog lists fitment as an option type, but the specific applications are not shown here, so confirm on the product page rather than guessing. Fitment is selected per vehicle, not per saying, so pick the design after you confirm your application.
- Will the Shrug Guy or This Is The Way design fit my car?
- Both are offered with the same Vehicle Fitment option as the BRZ version, so availability depends on your car rather than the engraved text. If your model appears in the fitment list, either saying can be ordered for it.
- Do these plate deletes come with mounting hardware?
- The catalog notes that each plate is drilled for proper fitment, but it does not list included hardware. Check the product page or ask the store what ships in the box before you remove your front plate bracket. Confirm hardware contents before install day so you are not left with an open bumper hole.
- Which saying is easiest to live with long term?
- A general saying like Shrug Guy or This Is The Way stays appropriate if you change cars, while the BRZ design is tied to one model. If you like changing details often, start with a neutral saying and save the model-specific plate for a car you plan to keep.
